About Dr. Mikhil Jain

Dr. Mikhil Jain is an orthopaedic surgeon with over 10 years of experience in trauma (fracture care) and joint replacement surgery. He is currently based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Although his subspeciality interests include joint replacement surgery of Shoulder, hip and Knee as well as fracture surgery, he is passionate about providing evidenced based treatment recommendations for majority of bone and joint problems.

Dr. Mikhil Jain is graduated from K.J Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai in 2010 and subsequently completed orthopaedic residency in Central Railway hospital in Mumbai. He then spent the following 6 years pursuing advanced subspeciality training at various centres of excellence in the UK and Australia including the world renowned Wrightington hospital. He believes in continuing lifelong learning in order to provide the best possible care to his patient.

Dr. Jain also maintains a strong interest in research and education. He regularly publishes academic articles in peer reviewed journals and has even completed a masters degree at Edge Hill University in United Kingdom in 2018. He was the recipient of JRD Tata Scholarship for medical excellence in 2007 and was awarded JN endowment scholarship for pursuing higher education in the UK.

In his spare time Mikhil enjoys playing and watching sports particularly cricket and football. He is involved in charitable organizations for education for poor children in India as well as prevention of cruelty against animals and wildlife protection.
